The Sorcery of Nymph Circe Will Get North American Release

There are plans for a North American release of Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe, the long-awaited sequel to the Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway anime film and the second in a trilogy.

Anime News Network reports that the North American release will begin this winter, and that the Japanese release will begin this year.

This was one of the Gundam-related announcements at San Diego Comic Con 2025. More details will be announced “soon.”

The first Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway premiered in Japan on June 11, 2021 JST and came to Netflix on July 1 the same year. The Sorcery of Nymph Circe emerged in June of this year with its title, a teaser video, and a “next winter” Japanese release date (however, the Japanese text on the Gundam.Info website and the Gundam Channel’s video description says “this winter”).

The trilogy’s story centers on Hathaway Noa, the son of Londo Bell commander Bright Noa, who has become the leader of the anti-Earth Federation organization Mafty after the events of Char’s Counterattack

Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway was originally a novel trilogy that was released between 1989 to 1990 under the KADOKAWA Sneaker Bunko label. Gundam creator Yoshiyuki Tomino was the author.

Update: Added new information regarding Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe’s release date.
