The previously revealed The Strongest Man, Born From Misfortune TV anime has gotten a teaser visual. It was also announced that it will begin airing in 2027.
Shigetaka Ikeda (Mirage QUEEN Vacances Élégantes) is directing the anime at East Fish Studio.
The Strongest Man, Born From Misfortune (Fuun Kara no Saikyo Otoko) is based on the manga written by Fukufuku and drawn by Zunn Nakabayashi. MangaPlaza describes the manga’s synopsis as such:
“Fortune and Misfortune are two sides of the same coin?! Reverse any adversary and cease redemption!!” Siegbert is reborn after an unfortunate accident in his previous life. His new family is warm and welcoming… so much so it seems as though he may no longer be an unlucky person. In this world, he can finally live a quiet, peaceful life… or so he thought. It seems that he actually holds an insanely high luck stat in this new world…? “Every chance is a manifestation of good fortune. If you can cease the chances, your wishes shall be granted…” Conquering each “chance” granted by his good fortune, will he now cease redemption on the generational legacy this family has yet to fulfill?!
The Strongest Man, Born From Misfortune began as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel in 2020. The manga began serialization in Starts Publishing’s Comic Grast in 2021. A light novel series, also illustrated by Nakabayashi, debuted in 2022 under the same publisher’s Grast Novels label.
