TINY METAL 2 delayed to 2027, closed playtest set for April 2 to 29

Publisher AREA 34 and developer AREA 35 have delayed strategy game sequel TINY METAL 2 from its previously planned 2026 release window to 2027, as well as announced that a closed playtest will run from April 2 at 3:00 p.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. ET to April 29 at 2:00 a.m. PT / 5:00 a.m. ET. Sign-ups are available now via Steam.

The playtest will support local multiplayer for up to eight players. Online multiplayer is planned to be supported in the full release.

TINY METAL 2 will be available for PC via Steam in 2027, with other platforms to be announced.
