“Turkey! Original Anime Announced, Set in Nagano”
A new original anime titled Turkey! has been announced. The show is set in Nagano’s Chikuma City and features five schoolgirls as the main characters.
A teaser visual, featuring the aforementioned five girls on a train platform, was released as well.
Naomi Hiruta (Spaghetti Code Love), a scriptwriter for multiple TV dramas, live-action movies, and stage plays, is writing the script for Turkey. Handling the character designs is Airi Takegawa (Pandora to Akubi sub-character designer). Bakken Record, which is credited with creating the anime alongside Pony Canyon, is the animation production company.
To promote the anime, a collaboration booth between Chikuma City and Pony Canyon will be held at Comiket 101. The booth will hand out a limited amount of fans that feature printed character designs and the scent of Chikuma apricots.
