There Manga “Vinland Saga” by Makoto Yukimura received an anime adaptation in 2019 Studio WIT. The 24 episodes of the series were originally shown with subtitles in a simulcast on Amazon Prime Video. In spring 2022, these episodes were released by KAZÉ Anime (now Crunchyroll) on DVD and Blu-ray with German dubbing and original subtitles. Shortly thereafter, in early July 2022, all episodes were available to stream on Crunchyroll’s online platform and Netflix.
The announced second season is currently in production MAP study instead of WIT. The lead team behind the production is the same as Season 1. Now it has also been announced when Season 2 will start and where it will be streamed.

Already From January 10, 2023, “Vinland Saga” season 2 will be on Japanese television continue (January 9, 2023 German time) and then made available by various Japanese VoD providers. Worldwide (except Asia) starts the second season on 2 platforms in simulcast. Either Netflix as well as Crunchyroll will show the series worldwide on a weekly basis.
