#Woman wanted in Wendy’s arson may be Rayshard Brooks’ girlfriend

The woman wanted for helping torch the Atlanta Wendy’s where Rayshard Brooks was killed may have had a romantic relationship with him, according to reports.

Natalie White, 29, was identified as a suspect in the blaze at the fast-food eatery on University Avenue on June 13 amid protests over Brooks’ death, CNN reported.

The day before, Brooks could be heard on body camera footage telling cops that a woman named Natalie White was his girlfriend before he was fatally shot in the police encounter in the restaurant parking lot.

Atlanta Fire and the attorney for Brooks’ family didn’t respond to requests for comment on whether they were the same woman, news station 11Alive reported.

But a source told CNN that investigators are working with the idea that the arson suspect may be linked to Brooks.

Authorities said the fire was believed to have been ignited by “multiple suspects” who used aerosol cans and lighters.

Protesters lot several fireworks and tossed trash inside the restaurant before it set ablaze, authorities said.
