Fate Series Compilation Album Tops Japan’s Weekly Album Sales Chart

 

 

 

The official Twitter for the Fate/stay night 15th Celebration Project reported today that „Fate song material,“ the two-disc compilation album including the 26 songs from the Fate anime/game franchise sold 34,000 units in its first week to become the top-selling album of the week in Japan. The album was released in Japan on December 18, and took No.1 in Oricon’s daily album sales charts for four consecutive days.

 

The album includes the OP theme, ED theme, and insert songs from the recent Fate anime series (Fate/Zero, Fate/stay night ［Unlimited Blade Works］, Fate/Apocrypha, FateEXTRA Last Encore), as well as the games‘ theme songs and re-arranged version of the past OP theme songs.
