TV Anime GeGeGe no Kitaro 6th Season to End Its 2-Year Run in March -BB
It is confirmed today that the ongoing sixth TV anime based on Shigeru Mizuki’s horror/supernatural manga GeGeGe no Kitaro will end its run in the coming March 2020. The latest series has already entered its final chapter „Nurarihyon Arc“ since its 76th episode aired on October 6, 2019, so this decision has been expected.
Nine years after the fifth series that aired for 100 episodes from April 2007 to March 2009, the sixth series of the TV anime Gegege no Kitaro premiered in Japan on April 1, 2018, and its latest 89th episode was aired lats Sunday, January 19, 2020. If the broadcast schedule goes according to the calendar, its final 97th episode is expected to be aired on March 29.
From April 2020, its current Sunday 9 AM slot on Fuji TV will be replaced by Digimon Adventure:, the reboot of the first Digimon Adventure TV anime aired in 1999-2000.

The sixth GegeGe no Kitaro TV anime has been available for Crunchyroll members in North America, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Premium users in Europe.
