New Rei Ayanami Figure Has Her Jumping Into Her Evangelion 3.33 Plugsuit

As we head into 2020 with a new Evangelion film only six months away, a new figure looking back at Rei Ayanami’s black plugsuit from Evangelion: 3.33 You Can (Not) Redo was announced on January 3 and is currently available to pre-order!

The figure is currently up for pre-order on the Crunchyroll Store until March 23, 2020, who describe the figure:

The black plugsuit that Rei can be seen wearing in EVANGELION:3.0 YOU CAN(NOT) REDO. makes a rare appearance in this figure series. Rei’s most well-known suit is her white plugsuit, adding a new variation of Rei for fans to add to their collection.

The 1/3 scale figure is sculpted by designer Shirahige Tsukuru, who has worked on all the Evangelion figures from this series, is inspired by the suit worn by the character in 2012 Rebuild of Evangelion film.

Rei Ayanami Q Plugsuit Version from Kotobukiya is estimated to be released in the US on July 30, 2020 for $149.99.
