A key visual and main voice cast have been unveiled for the upcoming Kanojo no Tomodachi TV anime series, which is set to premiere in Japan in October 2026.

The anime’s main voice cast will star Ryuga Nagaike as Takeru Hidaka, Sayaka Hashi as Kaori Koga, and Miki Hase as Tomoko Yoshioka.
Takashi Ando (My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog) is directing the anime series, with Goko Shiraki (Hands off: Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun!) as series composer and Ryuji Iwata as character designer. Quad is handling the animation production.
The anime will be released as part of WWWave Corporation‘s “Deregula” label, which has produced other short-form adult anime adaptations such as the upcoming KAMUI — He’s Behind You and Dark Summoner to Dekiteiru.
Jyura’s manga series has been serialized on Kodansha’s YanMaga Web service since May 21, 2021. Six tankobon volumes have been released in Japan as of October 2025.

Kanojo no Tomodachi focuses on a young high schooler named Takeru, who is seduced and tempted by his girlfriend’s friend, Tomoko.
