Myne and Orphen Wear Costumes from Each Other’s World in 1st Collaboration Visual
The Japanese official websites for the ongoing TV anime Ascendance of a Bookworm and the upcoming new TV anime Sorcerous Stabber Orphen have simultaneously posted a first visual from their collaboration project featuring the former’s protagonist Myne and the latter’s Orphen in the costumes from each other’s world.
Myne wears a costume inspired by Orphen’s and makes a pose of his iconic magic „Sword of Light,“ while Orphen wears the costume of Ferdinand, one of the major characters in Ascendance of a Bookworm, and reads a book. From January 1, 2020, a big ad featuring this collaboration visual will be displayed at the Animate Shinjuku store in Tokyo.

Collaboration CM for TV anime „Sorcerous Stabber Orphen“ narrated by Myne (CV: Yuka Iguchi):
The TV anime adaptation of Miya Kazuki’s „biblia fantasy“ light novel Ascendance of a Bookworm premiered in Japan on October 2, 2019, and has been also simulcast on Crunchyroll to its members worldwide excluding Asia.

As part of the 25th anniversary project for Yoshinobu Akita’s fantasy light novel series Majutsushi Orphen Haguretabi / Sorcerous Stabber Orphen, Takayuki Hamana (Magical girl lyrical Nanoha Reflection)-directed third TV anime adaptation is set to premiere in Japan on January 7, 2020.
