A Look Back anime movie exhibition will be held at Tokyo’s Azabudai Hills Gallery from January 16, 2026 JST to March 29, 2026 JST. The exhibition is called Gekijoban Anime Look Back-ten —Oshiyama Kiyotaka Sen no Kanjo and is co-organized by the film’s director Kiyotaka Oshiyama.
In a message, Oshiyama said that the exhibition was not a record of completed footage, but an attempt to visualize the “traces of emotion and thoughts” that come from the process of having things that could be depicted and things that could not be depicted.
Kiyotaka also called Look Back his ode to creatives and people and said that he hopes that the exhibition will inspire visitors to reexamine the question of what drawing is.
A teaser visual for the exhibition was released with the announcement.
