Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours' Seibu Dome Concert Blu-ray Tops Japan's Weekly Sales Ranking -BB
According to Oricon’s latest weekly Blu-ray sales ranking for January 6-12, the 18,000-yen (about 166 US dollars) „Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours 5th LoveLive! -Next SPARKLING!!- Blu-ray Memorial Box“ sold a very good 20,116 units in its first week, becoming the top-selling Blu-ray disc of the week in Japan.
The nine-member VA unit’s concert Blu-rays have dominated the weekly ranking for three consecutive times. Their previous two discs, „Aqours 3rd LoveLive! Tour -WONDERFUL STORIES- (March 6, 2019 release) and „Aqours 4th LoveLive! -Sailing to the Sunshine-“ (May 29, 2019) also became the top-selling Blu-ray in Japan in its first week of release.
The „Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours 5th LoveLive! -Next SPARKLING!!-„ DVD/Blu-ray were released in Japan on January 8, 2020. The discs include Aqours‘ live concert of the same name held at Seibu Dome (capacity: 33,556) in Saitama Prefecture on June 8 and 9, 2019. The franchise’s two-member unit Saint Snow also made a guest appearance.
