Several parts of India will witness the first Lunar Eclipse — also known as ‘Chandra Grahan’ — of the year 2020 on January 10. On this day, the Sun, Earth and Moon align itself in a perfect line for around 4 hours. The celestial phenomena will start on January 10, 10:32PM and will end on January 11, 2:42AM, Indian Standard Time (IST). This time the Lunar Eclipse will be visible from the major cities in the country, including Kolkata and New Delhi. Also, NASA has coined the term ‘Wolf Moon Eclipse‘ for this event.
