“Evil Does Not Exist | TAKE ONE Watch Online” Ryusuke Hamaguchi became only the third Japanese director to be nominated for the director prize at the Oscars with DRIVE MY CAR. His original intention to follow this up with a thirty-minute film without dialogue has given birth to EVIL DOES NOT EXIST: a full-length feature…
“Foe | TAKE ONE | Cambridge Film Festival 2023 Watch Online” Given the nature of its subject matter, a dystopian near-future thriller that tackles artificial intelligence and identity in a world facing environmental catastrophe, FOE should be a prescient examination of the imminent challenges we face both environmentally and technologically. Instead, Garth Davis has somehow…
“Shortcomings | TAKE ONE | Cambridge Film Festival 2023 Watch Online” Randall Park is just the latest in a long line of actors to be reductively summarised by their appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but a little knowledge of that comic book world wouldn’t go amiss when picking up on a reference or two…
“The Royal Hotel | TAKE ONE Watch Online” In 2019, Kitty Green’s narrative feature debut, THE ASSISTANT, premiered at Sundance to critical acclaim. “Passages | TAKE ONE | Reviews Watch Online” The romantic disruption Ira Sachs unleashes in PASSAGES is quietly captivating, in no small part due to the superb central performance of Franz Rogowski as Tomas.
